How to make favicon;
To add favicon, first create 16x16 size image. Save it with fevicon.ico name. You can create favicon with any graphics software. You can also create a favicon image using the .bmp extension, but make sure that the favicon is not more than 256 colors. But ICO is a standard format that supports all browsers.

First download the All in one Favicon plugin
1st step;
Log in to your WordPress site.
Go to Dashboard> Plugins> Add New.
Now install the plugin.
Second step;
After installing the plugin, go to Dashboard> Settings> All in one Favicon.
